After breakfast, travel westwards of Arusha to Lake Manyara national park. On arrival in the park, you will go for a canopy walk where you will be standing about 18 meters above the ground and on a stretch of over 370meters. The activity give you an opportunity to see wildlife in a different perspective not common during the African safaris.
Later check-in at the camp/lodge where you will have a lunch break then from the late afternoon, you will browse the savannas on a safari game drive expecting to see some of the Big Five of Africa.
Alternatively you may opt for an evening canoe ride on Lake Manyara where you will encounter variety of marine species like mammals and birds and other species seen along the shores. The 1-2 hour long voyage rewards visitors with a stunning view of the steep escarpment patched with pristine forests towering in the milieu.

Today after breakfast, you will go on a full day wildlife adventure in the park, starting off with an early game drive. The target of the day will be to see the tree climbing Lions which are the major highlight of safaris in Lake Manyara. Other species of wildlife such as Buffaloes, Elephants, Maasai Giraffes and endangered Wild dogs maybe encountered today while on the safari.
After a lunch break, you will continue with the wildlife adventure on a walking safari along the trails and plains of Manyara, up and down the hills and this gives close encounters with the wildlife. At the end of the day, you will retire for the night at the lodge.

Checkout from the lodge after breakfast, then transfer early to the airstrip for your domestic flight to the island of Unguja also known as Zanzibar. The scheduled flight usually routes through Ruaha national park. The flight to the Island gives you an opportune moment to see the remarkable aerial view of the undulating plains of Tanzania. On arrival at the island, you will be picked by the company guide/representative who will then transfer you to the accommodation where you will have your stay.

Today after breakfast, you will embark on an amazing tour on and around the culturally and historically endowed Stone town which holds a world heritage status from UNESCO. It is the cultural heartbeat of Zanzibar where you will encounter various historical and cultural sites. You will visit the National museum where you will find relics of early explorers and Sultans, wildlife among others, you will visit different buildings of interest like the House of Wonders, Old Fort, the Cathedral Church of Christ and others.
In the afternoon, you setoff north of Zanzibar to Nungwi where you will enjoy an amazing sunset cruise on a traditional Arab Dhow. It is such an interesting experience sipping a cold drink while watching the sun fall to sleep with its golden rays kiss the Indian Ocean waters.

Transfer very early for a boat trip to the Prison Island which is worth the adventure before you end your visit at Zanzibar Island and your Tanzania safari.
Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport at Zanzibar depending on the time of your flight back home.
