Package Itinerary

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha to Ngorongoro where you will start off this remarkable Tanzania safari. The journey to Ngorongoro leads you through a stunningly scenic countryside via Lake Manyara national park. This roughly four-hour journey will finally lead you to the Loduare gate of this UNESCO world heritage site of Ngorongoro Conservation area, known for its wildlife variety seen in an arena. On arrival, you will check in at the lodge where you will have a lunch break and then in the afternoon, you will go for wildlife viewing, descending in this grand volcanic crater, highlighted by the remarkable scenery of wildlife spread on the floor.

After breakfast, head for an early game and wildlife viewing experience within Ngorongoro where you will see and encounter lots of wildlife with great moments to see the four of Africa’s Big Five including the Rhinos, Buffalos, Lions and the Elephant as well as other game and wildlife species of predator like Jackals, Hyenas, Wild dogs and those of prey like Zebras, Gazelles, Reedbucks among others.
Have a lunch break then go for an afternoon walking safari within Ngorongoro to explore more of the treasures, trails through Olmoti crater to Embakai, the Great Rift Valley floor and the eastern plains among others are ideal to embrace the beauty of nature in this UNESCO heritage site.

Today after an early breakfast, checkout from the lodge then depart Ngorongoro via the Olduvai Gorge. The spot is a significant archeological site and a museum, here you will learn about the discoveries and origins of humankind.
You will then explore the Ndutu area- northwest in Ngorongoro where you will see lots of wildlife and during the Wildebeest migration season, it is a remarkable spot to watch them calving then depart to Serengeti National Park.

Today start off with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, then hit the rolling yellow golden savannas of Africa on an early game viewing session, during the perfect season, you will set your eyes on an endless herd of Wildebeest and other species like Zebras etc, disappearing into the horizon on a great migration.
The Wildebeest migration is the world’s greatest wildlife event and phenomena, where millions of these mammals move via the Mara-Serengeti triangle, with scenes of predator-prey showdown as predators stalk and feast on the mammals on the pilgrimage via the savannas and crossings over the rivers.

Today you will experience the endless plains of the Serengeti in a different perspective, when you set-off very early before dawn for a balloon safari over the glorious plains of the park. You will set off to the balloon launching area at 0400hours and the drive from the camp to the launch point may be an opportune moment to see the nocturnal species. The balloon safari is a stunning way to enjoy the plains from above, flocked by various species roaming the golden savannas and it will be climaxed with a champagne treat and bush breakfast.
Later, depart Serengeti national park and travel to Lake Manyara national park where you will be for your next day Tanzania safari experience.

Today after breakfast, you will browse the beautiful plains of Lake Manyara national park which are known for the remarkable scenes of the rare tree climbing Lions of Africa. You will participate in a full day game viewing experience in this roughly 350sq.km park. Expect to encounter lots of wildlife like the Elephants, Buffalo herds, Hippopotamuses, Reedbucks and many others usually seen at close quarters.
The crystal-clear waters of the lake offer habitat for the beautiful Flamingos, Pelicans and other bird species. Retire for the day at the lodge where your dinner and overnight will be.

Have a hearty breakfast which will mark the end of this wildlife safari in Tanzania. Later depart from Lake Manayara national park and travel back to Kilimanjaro where you will either be dropped off at the hotel or at the airport for your international flight back home.
