Package Overview

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what’re you doing for others?”  “The destiny of world civilization depends upon providing a decent standard of living for all mankind”. So at ATW Holidays Africa, it is our obligation to promote the welfare of the people around us. You will participate in some humanitarian and charity work on this 11 day Uganda humanitarian/ volunteering, wildlife and camping safari. Part of the activities will include volunteer work and supporting a local project, donations, community visits to empower the locals.

You will visit Missionaries of the Poor charity home in Kampala, and communities around Pian Upe wildlife reserve and Moroto- Karamoja region. Please note; these contributions are only made to respective administrations and not directly to locals. This is to discourage the habit of begging which may arise and distort the view of visitors.

On this volunteer and camping Uganda safari, you will immerse into the authentic cultural beauty of the Karamojong nomads and warriors found in eastern Uganda. You will also participate in a bush camping safari in Uganda’s Pian Upe Wildlife reserve that’s popular for its stunning scenery. More to your wildlife adventure is the game safari in Kidepo Valley national park and Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Therefore this may be an opportunity for you to spot the African Big Five, so prepare for the wild adventure.
