On this eastern Uganda adventure tour, you will go for a 1-day hiking of Mount Elgon. You will also hike Sipi falls as well as having an extreme rafting adventure on the imposing waters of the River Nile.
These sites located in the eastern part of Uganda offer complete adventure safaris and experiences to visitors. Mount Elgon national park is one of the country’s hiking sites located in Mbale district. Its home to one of the world’s largest Caldera at a size of 40Sq.km and 8 km diameter. Elgon is a volcanic mountain, whose initial eruption is traced over 20 million years ago. So its highest peak is the Wagagai standing at 4’321meters asl and Mount Elgon is on Uganda’s border with Kenya. If one would love to participate in a complete hike, it can last from 4days.
On this Uganda adventure safari, you will hike the magnificent Sipi falls just on the foothills of Elgon. Here trails lead you past the beautiful scenery, local communities and you can also explore coffee fields. You will go rafting on the waters of the world’s longest river; the Nile with various grades of rapids available depending on your interest.

Note: Welcome to the Land of Adventure! You will be warmly received by our guide the day you arrive at Entebbe airport. He then will transfer you to your overnight accommodation in Kampala.

Package Itinerary
Your safari guide will pick you at the hotel after breakfast; and set off for an early journey to the eastern part of the country via Jinja. Continue with the journey all the way to Mbale or Kapchorwa where you arrive for lunch.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Sipi and start off this Uganda adventure safari with a hike to the top of the falls. The top command fine-looking sights of the sun set over the surrounding areas. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Prepare to hike Mount Elgon, transfer to the park reception area where you meet with the guide, he will brief you about the hiking etiquette and then start off the trekking. The activity will last through the day and therefore you carry packed lunch boxes. The trek rewards you with encounters of various interesting features and species. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Checkout from the lodge after an early breakfast then travel to Jinja, where you arrive in the afternoon. After a lunch break, you will take part in an awe-inspiring voyage on the waters of the river Nile, cruise to the source where this world’s longest river starts its journey to the Mediterranean Sea where it pours its waters.
O/night: The Haven River lodge (Luxury) /Kingfisher lodge (Midrange) /Nile River camp (Basic). Meal Plan: Full Board [FB].
Transfer to the starting point early enough where you will meet your rafting guide who will brief you about the rafting activity and later take on the adventure challenge on the daunting rapids on the Nile. Various grades/ levels of rapids are available and you have the opportunity to select which one to take on depending on your interest.
You have two options; to either participate in half or full day rafting. This Nile River rafting adventure marks the end of this Uganda adventure safari experience.

After a hearty breakfast, checkout from your overnight accommodation then embark on a drive back to Kampala. Drop-off is at the hotel or at the airport in Entebbe for your flight.
